Image Description:
Westland Limousine III G-EARV won the 1920 Air Ministry Commercial Aeroplane Competition. It was then sold to Sidney Cotton in January 1921 who formed the Aerial Survey Company (Newfoundland) Ltd. The aircraft was used for seal and fishery spotting in Newfoundland. The reason people are running after the aircraft is to catch hold of the wings and slow it down - it's on skis and sliding on packed snow.
