Image Description:
Westland Limousine G-EAJL ran a private bank service between Croydon and Paris between September and November 1920. One of the directors R.J Norton, dictated a letter in flight and his unfortunate secretary typed it out. The large wheel in the window is for operating Westland's Patent Tailplane Adjusting Gear - Tail trimmer, as we would know it today.
