The Westland Interceptor fighter prototype designed to meet spec. F.29/27. Known as the COW Gun Fighter, because it had the 37 mm Coventry Ordanance Works canon mounted at an upward firing angle of 55 degrees. The plane first flew at the end of 1930 but the trials did not give satisfactory results to continue with the idea.
