Image Description:
BOAC operated VC-10 flights from Birmingham to New York in the early 1970s. Here, Super VC-10 G-ASGR can be seen parked on the old western apron with a good view of the internal spectators viewing area (above the aircraft nose) as well as the excellent outside picnic area with its very low fence enabling superb close up views and photography of the aircraft.
