Image Description:
Apologies for the low quality of this photo. Prior to the mid-air collision between the Mustang and Skyraider a near miss occurred earlier when Supermarine Spitfire (G-MKVB) was on finals to land after completing its display when Douglas Skyraider (F-AZHK) approached the Hurricane at speed from behind. At the last moment the Skyraider either received a radio warning message to break or maybe after seeing the Hurricane made a sharp left break and climb to avoid.
