ZB698 is ex Bulgarian AF 403 and was one of two Mi-8MTV-1s to be delivered to QinetiQ at Boscombe Down in 2008. Both were used for Project Curium, the training of Afghan helicopter crews at Boscomber Down, and were withdrawn from use in March 2010 on completion of the program.
