- This MiG-17 which should have been grounded for a long time, were based in an airbase in Syria and during the terrorist foray of ISIS forces was plundered by them. Although this fighter wouldn't have flown but the ISIS painted it in their own and repugnant color (fully black with ISIS flag) just for show. Later than ISIS's dominion, this plane and many other war equipment were recaptured by Iran-Russia-Syria armed forces. Without all political ideas, this fighter is a part of aviation history.
