- Seen at Virginia where it was undergoing some minor maintenance. It was flying from and based on the motor yacht Meduse which was moored in Durban harbour. It is believed to be owned by Vulcan Inc. a company of billionaire Paul Allen's.

The MD Explorer is a light twin helicopter which was the first new design to incorporate the NOTAR anti-torque system that reduces pilot workload and external noise levels, and improves safety in confined areas and on offshore platforms.
The large cabin makes the MD Explorer ideally suited for rapid role change from an Offshore/Onshore six-place passenger transport to Emergency Medical Services or Law Enforcement Police surveillance missions. The latest model is the MD 902.
