- The Ocean Sky 2019 exercise will take place in the Canary archipelago between October 19 and 30, 2019. The purpose of the exercise is to train the capabilities of the Command and Control structure of the Combat Air Command in an air superiority campaign, which allows to increase the level of preparation for air-to-air combat of the Air Army fighter units and of the invited foreign units. In this regard, this edition of the Ocean Sky has the participation of the 493 U.S. Air Force Squadron. (equipped with F-15C aircraft) and 151 Turkish Air Force Squadron (equipped with F-16 aircraft).
