- Image Description:
- 128434 was delivered to the US Navy on 4.11.52 and served with MATS unit VR-7 at Hickham and subsequently Moffett until June 1958. It was transferred to the USAF and re-registered 54-4048 and re-designated as a C-121G in 1958, and joined the MATS/WESTAF fleet at Moffett and named 'City of Calcutta'. In June 1966 it was transferred to the Wyoming ANG at Cheyenne MAP, NY and re-named 'City of Rock Springs' with 187ATS, 137 Air Transport Wing. It was retired to MASDC Davis Monthan for storage in early 1972 and was scapped by 1979.
