Image Description:
The Fokker D-VII acknowledged as probably the best single-seat fighter used by either side in the 1914-1918 War. The Armistice terms, very unusually, seemed to endorde this by insisting that all Fokker D.VII's should be surrendered. But Anthony Fokker smuggled numbers of them into his own country and went on building them in Hollandfor a while. This photo could be one of those Dutch D.VII's.
