- Fairchild 24 at Pendeford Airport. Set adjacent to Boulton and Paul Aircraft works in Wolverhampton. A Dove crashed onto some houses killing the crew and at least one occupant of the houses. This was the end for Pendford Airport and it closed in 1970.
