- 243 C-124Cs were built and delivered to the USAF between May 1950 and May 1955. MATS Pacific consisted of three Troop Carrier Wings, the 60th, 62nd and 63rd TCW. 10177 finished its flying career with 901st MAG at Hanscom Field, Mass., when it was retired to MASDC at Davis Monthan on 8th August 1972. The C-124C was withdrawn from USAF service in September 1974.
