- Blackburn Buccaneer NA.39 Prototype XK489 was the 4th development aircraft of initial batch of 20. First fully navalised aircraft with folding wings & nose, arrester hook, etc. for carrier landings. XK489 is seen here at the 'SBAC Show' Farnborough in September 1960 together with Bristol 192 Belvedere HC1 XG452. The Blackburn Buccaneer was a British low-level subsonic strike aircraft with nuclear weapon delivery capability serving with the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force between 1962 and 1994.
