- GreenJet Airlines is a new charter airline that will operate flights with two Airbus A321 aircraft on behalf of some of Europe's leading Tour Operators to destinations throughout Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, North Africa and the Middle East. GreenJet plans to operate aircraft from Gatwick and Birmingham, UK from end of July 2013 for Meridian Aviation on behalf of Olympic Holidays.

The A321 is a twin engined narrow body short to medium range airliner. It is a minimum change stretch version of the basic A320. The 321 has about 7 metres added to the fuselage, and some strengthening to cater for extra weight.
The A321-100 is the basic version of the 321, with reduced range compared to the A320, as fuel tankage was kept the same.
