- Mandala Airlines is back. After ceasing operations in January 2011 the airline is now ready to operate again with limited destinations from Indonesia. Tiger Airways decided to ventured into the Indonesia market and have brought 33% of shares of the troubled Mandala Airlines. The first flight by the reborn airline which will be known as 'Tiger Mandala' will be on the 4th April 2012 and they hope to have 10 aircraft in service within one year.

The A320 is a twin engine short to medium range airliner. It was the first narrow body airliner produced by Airbus and first to use a fly-by-wire control system, with electronic cockpit and side-stick controller. Developed into a family of airliners.
The -200 was the definitive production version of the A320, with better range/payload performance compared to the series 100. Weights and engine thrusts were all increased.
