The A300 is a twin engined short/medium range wide-body airliner.It was the first airliner designed and built by Airbus,developed through a range of improved versions, Many have been converted to freighters. Production ceased in 2007.
The A300-B2 was the base production version, with an 8' 8'' stretch over the prototypes, and more powerful engines. Subsequent versions were the B2-200 with improved flaps and the -300 with increased weight and range.
