- This former JAL bird (JA8558) had been converted at the Elbeflugzeugwerke EFW in Dresden in March and only got it new colours in Manchester in May this year. In the background is the characteristic Lufthansa Technik A380 maintenance hangar. Photo taken in the late evening.

The A300-B4 was the major early production version, with increased range compared to the B2, the B4 had its own developments - the -200 with further increased range and the -200FF, the first 2 crew edition of the A300.
