- On 16 September 2023, in Turin, Italy, a tragic plane crash occurred involving this aircraft from the Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team shortly after takeoff from Caselle Airport, due to an engine failure, probably, caused by the impact with one or more birds. A burning piece broke away from the aircraft on impact, and is understood to have hit a car of a family inside, with the youngest casualty being five years old.
