- KC-135A 71433 from 28 BW, Ellsworth AFB, deployed to South East Asia and refuelling three F-105Ds from the 355 TFW during a mission over Vietnam in 1970. The F-105s were from Takhli AB, Thailand - aircraft 59-1731 'The Frito Bandito' (also know as 'The Hun's Hammer) was with 357 TFS, while 62-4361 'Christie' and 61-0076 were both with 44 TFS. All three Thunderchiefs survived the war and 24361 is currently preserved at Farmingdale, NY.
